Brief.

The course asked for a wearable. Perfume wears off and needs reapplying through the day, so I made the bracelet carry it. A refillable chamber holds a removable scent cartridge, and small openings release the fragrance as the wrist moves.

Concept. A bracelet that carries the perfume.

Concept

SILLAGE is a wearable fragrance diffusion bracelet. Perfume is temporary and awkward to reapply, so the bracelet holds it and releases it through the day.

A concealed refillable chamber holds a removable absorbent cartridge. Small micro-diffusion openings let the fragrance out with body heat, airflow and wrist movement.

The name is the French perfume term for the scent trail someone leaves when they walk past.

The board mixes watches, perforated metal, perfume bottles and packaging, with a colour palette pulled from them.

The skeletonized structures of mechanical watches became the reference for the openings.

Five blue-pen sheets covered three families of wearable.

Ideation

The sketches explored modular perfume capsules, flexible skin-like wearables and sculptural cuff forms.

Pages show the bracelet, the cartridge, a perforated cuff and a strap with a refill box.
